SESH X KATIE NEHRA - EPISODE 9
Vittoria Bergeron and Alyssa Musket
Vittoria Bergeron
Co-Founder, CEO
Vittoria found the power that exists in community-based treatment through the inpatient group support that saved her life after struggling with an eating disorder. Unable to find the same type of group support that enabled her recovery, she made a commitment to herself that she would fill the accessibility gap for those who seek mental healthcare. She combined her passion for community-based support with her passion for technology when she founded Sesh to bring group support to the masses.
After graduating from Berkeley, she joined the investment banking team at Barclays where she specialized in consumer technology companies. Vittoria then joined Blockchain.com as an early employee. She rose to become the Chief of Staff, helping to scale the platform to over 50 million users worldwide.
Alyssa Musket
Co-Founder, COO
Sparked into action by a friend’s need for ongoing mental health support but inability to afford adequate care, Alyssa was motivated to find a solution. Realizing the pervasiveness of this scenario in today’s society, she pursued her belief that community-led solutions at scale can create a truly effective path to sustainable change. She is passionate about Sesh cultivating a safe space where people of various identities can find accessible mental health support and build community - especially for vulnerable populations that are typically underserved.
Relocating from the east coast after studying at Simmons College, Alyssa started her career in entertainment marketing at Sony Pictures in Los Angeles. For the last three years, she has worked remotely as a PR & marketing consultant, moving away from the entertainment industry to focus on supporting mission-driven talent and companies. Most recently she worked with human rights nonprofit, DigDeep, which is focused on bringing clean running water to the homes of 2M+ Americans who currently live without access.
